Ailee ended up with a stitch in her head, it was bound to happen sooner or later, probably worth it considering the hours of fun the girls have had on that rope!
Hillside. Rolling grassy knolls, country life, a view perhaps. We sort of live on a bit of a hill in an inner city suburb, we called our farm just south of Shepparton "Walnut Hill", more as a joke because it is so flat and we are on the only rise for miles, and for three months of the past three years we have lived below a majestic mountain range in the foothills of Santa Barbara, California. Yes, Hillside, perfect. Perfect but not available. Well how about Hillsyde, slight variation maybe, doesn't really make any sense except for the Jane Austen tone? I could imagine an estate named Hillsyde on the windy romantic moors, plus I do have five daughters of my own so I can often relate to Mrs Bennett's "nerves". Come along, we do get around!
I just love the photos - keep them coming! Enjoy these last days...
